By using Khana AI you agree to these terms.

The service

Khana AI uses artificial intelligence to estimate the nutritional content of meals from photos and descriptions, and provides tracking and coaching features based on those estimates.

Estimates, not guarantees

AI-generated nutrition values are estimates. Portion sizes, preparation methods, and ingredients cannot be fully determined from an image, and results may be inaccurate. You are responsible for decisions made based on the app's output. Khana AI is not medical, dietetic, or health advice and is not a substitute for professional care.

Subscriptions

• Khana AI requires an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly), purchased through your Apple ID.
• New subscribers receive a free trial as displayed at purchase. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription converts automatically and your Apple ID is charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Fair use

"Unlimited" scanning is subject to reasonable anti-abuse limits designed to be far above normal personal use. Automated, scripted, or resale use of the service is prohibited.

Your content

You retain rights to the photos and information you submit. You grant us the limited license needed to process them to provide the service (including processing by our AI provider) and to use corrections in aggregate to improve accuracy.

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete account). This permanently removes your data. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel in iOS Settings.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to breach security, overload systems, reverse-engineer, or use the app for unlawful purposes.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
